“…The difference in oxidation and reduction peak potentials, ▵E p , was found to be 98 mV for pMO/erGO/GCE, which is higher than 57 mV. This suggests a quasi‐reversible behavior of the modified electrode [25]. However, it is still notably lower than that of the polished GCE electrode (133 mV).…”

“…Plotting the oxidation and reduction current densities vs. the square root of the scan rate showed a linear dependency, suggesting the electrode kinetics is controlled by the diffusion of electroactive species in solution [46]. Furthermore, we used Randles-Sevcik equation to calculate the active surface area [23,25]. The electroactive areas were found to be 0.121 and 0.08 cm 2 for pMO/erGO/GCE and bare GCE, respectively, denoting an increase of 50 % after the modification with the reduced graphene oxide and the polymer.…”

“…Electrochemical methods have gained widespread attention due to their simplicity, cost-effectiveness, ease of operation, high sensitivity, and rapid sensing capabilities. 5,[14][15][16][17][18] Indeed, they allow the preparation of sensing devices that t the World Health Organization "ASSURED: Affordable, Sensitive, Selective, User-friendly, Equipment-free and Deliverable to end-users" criteria. 19,20 For instance, Gökçe et al 21 developed an aptamerbased electrochemical sensor for OTA detection, demonstrating practical application in samples using pencil graphite electrodes.…”
