Abstract:We show that L-branch maximal ratio combining (MRC) receiver with average signal-to-noise ratio (SNR)γ in Nakagami-m fading channels is equivalent to mL-branch MRC receiver with average SNRγ/m in Rayleigh fading channels in terms of symbol error probability (SEP) when mL is an integer. Also, orthogonal space time block code (OSTBC) employing Mt transmit antennas and Mr receive antennas with the average SNRγ in Nakagami-m fading channels is shown to be equivalent to mMtMr-branch MRC single-input multiple-output… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
