“…Selective DMIPs have also been used as sorbents in several extraction modalities including SPE and DMSPE. Specifically for the extraction of triazine herbicides, two approaches based on the bulk copolymerization of MAA and EDMA in the presence of the dummy template have been reported. , In both cases, cryomazine was used as a dummy template for the formation of specific binding sites for the recognition of cyanazine and atrazine in tomato samples and atrazine in seawater, respectively. Once the DMIPs were prepared, the template and the residual monomers were completely removed using a Soxhlet extraction, and then, the sorbents were packed into cartridges for usage as solid-phase extraction devices.…”

“…Chen, Zhao, et al (2019) established dummy‐template molecularly imprinted polymers. The DMIPs possessed a great binding capacity and were used as the sorbent of molecular imprinting solid‐phase extraction (MISPE) for determination of trace atrazine.…”

“…This material has many advantages, such as stable chemical properties, special selectivity, high affinity, easy preparation, and so on [11]. In recent decades, MIT has been extensively used in chromatographic separation [12], solid-phase extraction [13], catalysis [14], and binding assays and sensors [15]. Obviously, MIT was the outstanding tool for the separation of active components from Traditional Chinese Medicine.…”
