Abstract:Post-quench atomic reordering processes undergone by Ni2Mn1−xCuxGa alloys have been characterized in detail. The obtained results corroborate the hypothesis that proposes an atomic ordering process additional to the B2↔L21 one, consisting of the relocation in the Mn sublattice of Cu atoms misplaced by quench in the Ni sublattice.
