Abstract

Bilateral cerebral peduncular infarction (BCPI) is an extremely rare neurological disorder reportedly associated with locked-in syndrome. A 60-year-old man represented with reduction in conscious level three weeks following a paramedian pontine infarction due to basilar artery thrombosis.
