Abstract:Objectives: This study investigated the antimycobacterial, anti-in ammatory and antihyperalgesic effects of hydroalcoholic extract from leaves of S. marginata (EESM) in in vitro and in vivo models.Methods and Results: EESM (0.98-1000 µg/ml) was evaluated in in vitro against Mycobacterium tuberculosis, M. bovis, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus epidermidis.
