Serological and Immunochemical Studies in Haemolytic Anaemia with High‐Titre Cold Agglutinins

Abstract: Summary The serological and immunochemical properties of antibodies with anti‐I specificity found in the serum of a patient with high‐titre cold auto‐agglutinins are described. Survival studies with 51Cr tagged I and i red cells showed that i cells survived normally and that the I cells had a diminished survival time.
