Volume 4 -Issue 2 Serum Uric Acid (SUA) is an important plasma marker in patients with Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) and hypertension, which is closely related to the morbidity and mortality of Cardio Vascular Diseases (CVD) [3]. UA in the body is the final product of purine base metabolism. It is produced by hypoxanthine and xanthine via purine synthesis under the catalysis of Xanthine Oxidase (XO) [4].
