Abstract:Background: Ponesimod is a potent, orally active, selective, reversible sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor 1 (S1P 1 ) modulator. Singledose administration of ponesimod leads to a reduction of circulating lymphocytes reflecting their sequestration within lymphoid organs.
