Severe Pulmonary Hypertension Caused by Cor triatriatum sinistrum: Diagnosis and Assessment of Severity with Two-Dimensional Doppler Echocardiography

Abstract: A case of cor triatriatum was diagnosed by means of two-dimensional Doppler echocardiography in a 43-year-old patient suffering from severe pulmonary hypertension. The severity of the gradient above the membrane and the severity of the pulmonary hypertension could both be accurately assessed by Doppler echocardiography.
