Abstract: Ureteral catheterisation is a practice that has been frequently used in urology since 1967.It is used before surgical interventions, to monitor urinary output, in cases of urinary incontinence and to remove urinary obstructions. 1,2 Double-J ureteral catheterisation is commonly used as an effective treatment for ureteral obstructions.
