Shall I Project a World: Linguistic Evocation of Reality through Connotative Narratives

Abstract: The following paper will discuss the usage of language as a medium to understand and interpret the reality by the individuals. Taking Pynchon's novel, The Crying of Lot 49, as the primary text, the paper will analyse the attempts to understand the reality through three kinds of perception and how they affect the basic daily understanding of the individuals.
