Abstract:The conductivity and nonlinear optical properties of isonaphtothiophene (INT)(n) are investigated by quantum chemical techniques. The conducting properties of (INT)(n) are examined by density of states (DOS) and local DOS analyses. As the chain length n increases, the geometrical conformations of (INT)(n) changed, and the energy gap suddenly decreases. The energy potentials and rotation effect are explored to determine the most preferred stable structures. The geometrical and intrinsic charge character are ana… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
