Shift of Neutrophils From Blood to Bone Marrow Upon Extensive Experimental Trauma Surgery

Abstract: IntroductionExtensive trauma surgery evokes an immediate cellular immune response including altered circulatory neutrophil numbers. The concurrent bone marrow (BM) response however is currently unclear.
