Ship‐Mounted Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP): Characteristics and Field Applications to Measure Coastal Hydrodynamics

Abstract: The Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) is an oceanographic instrument used to measure water currents in different aquatic environments.
