Abstract: The importance of management in women in menopause and postmenopause is not diminishing, but only gaining relevance. It is estimated that by 2050, more than 1.6 billion women worldwide will reach this age, compared to 1 billion in 2020. Vasomotor symptoms (VMS) are the most common symptoms of menopause and affect more than 70% of women. They are diagnosed in 35-50% of women in perimenopause and 30-80% women in postmenopause.
