“…The individual photoemission spectra of each element were plotted concerning the C 1s peak position at 284.8 eV . The XPS spectrum of Ti 2p displays two peaks centered at 463.92 and 458.02 eV (Figure b) corresponding to the typical binding energies of Ti 2p 1/2 and Ti 2p 3/2 in TiO 2 , respectively . The peaks located around 529.6 and 531.5 eV were assigned to O 1s (Figure c) with respect to the previous reports and correspond to lattice oxygen and surface active oxygen, respectively .…”

“…NaOH treatment of CP-Ti will enable the Na and O ions to penetrate into the surface to a depth of 1 μm and leads to the formation of sodium hydrogen titanate. Upon heat treatment, the surface oxide layer adheres strongly to the inner core titanium due to the formation of sodium titanate and rutile TiO 2 on the surface by the elimination of hydrogen as a water molecule . The samples of lower concentrations of Ce (TiNa0.01Ce and TiNa0.001Ce) show the presence of anatase TiO 2 over the surface.…”

“…Recent discoveries of the antioxidant and microbial activities of CaTiO 3 -NPs containing compounds together with a high capacity of CaTiO 3 to deliver calcium ions raise interest in the use of CaTiO 3 -NPs in a wide range of medical applications [ 3 , 18 ]. However, the cytotoxic and genotoxic effects of CaTiO 3 -NPs in human MCF-7 cancer cells almost have not been studied.…”
