Silver carbonate, a convenient reagent for preparing C‐nitroso compounds from hydroxylamines

Abstract: Silver carbonate, precipitated on Celite, is a convenient reagent for the preparation in yields of 55-95% of C-nitroso compounds from hydroxylamines.
