Abstract:Surgical pulmonary artery thrombectomy is a well-established emergency
treatment for massive pulmonary embolism (PE) in which fibrinolysis or
thrombolysis cannot happen. However, surgery for massive PE that
requires peripheral pulmonary artery thrombus removal remains
