“…[3] To account for peculiarities of short-range HF propagation the special method was developed in Rostov state university (Russia) in early eighties of the last century, and since that time it took multiple supplements [Barabashov et al, 2001;Barabashov and Anishin, 2002;Barabashov et al, 2006]. High precision of the method is achieved by using the most reliable and well developed IRI model, proper setting the lower ionosphere, correct accounting for absorption in all ionospheric layers and multihop reflection loss, applying author methods of calculating power and trajectory characteristics of a short wave propagating in magnetoactive spatially nonuniform ionosphere, which differentiates the proposed method from known ones.…”
