Abstract:The suspension system functions to transmit forces and moments between the wheels and the chassis, absorb impact forces, and ensure vehicle smoothness. In this study, the nonlinear suspension system was simplified to a two-freedom model. State-space equations for the control system were derived. A simulation model was created using Simulink.
