Abstract: Pseudomonas putidahave emerged as promising biocatalysts for the conversion of sugars and aromatics obtained from lignocellulosic biomass. Understanding the role of carbon catabolite repression (CCR) in these strains is critical to optimize biomass conversion to fuels and chemicals.
