Abstract:Axial Flux‐Switching Permanent Magnet motors are broadly used in various industrial applications due to their high torque density and low rotor inertia. However, one major drawback of these motors is their cogging torque, which results in torque ripple and vibration. Existing methods for reducing cogging torque have often led to a decrease in useful electromagnetic torque, thereby compromising motor efficiency. To address this issue, a novel hybrid structure for the simultaneous improvement of cogging torque a… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
