Abstract:We developed an intraoral swept source optical coherence tomography (SSOCT) and combined a simultaneous measurement of optical quantitative parameters (i.e., multiple scattering coefficient, m , and scattering anisotropy factor, g eff ) for nondestructive assessment of dental hard tissues. Two-dimensional (2D) circumferential images were constructed by rotating the mini-probe (1.8 mm in diameter) while acquiring image lines, and the adjacent lines in each rotation could be stacked to generate a three-dimension… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
