As processing cost became more affordable, the telecommunications market started to replace one-purpose hardwares, e.g., modulators and amplifiers, by their software implementation version creating Software Defined Radio (SDR) systems. Some of the advantages of SDR systems are the low cost to develop new functionalities and the short time to market by quickly making new software available to be downloaded. In this context, the present work used an SDR platform to deploy a Long Term Evolution (LTE) network testbed and evaluate an algorithm to predict the signal quality of a link between an User Equipment (UE) and an Evolved Node B (eNB). A performance evaluation showed that low error of prediction can be achieved based on the choice of the algorithm parameters, which can be configured according to the environment conditions.

Radio is a public media that conveys the content of its message in the form of information, entertainment, news, and education by audio. In broadcasting, the Radio should have a program that suits the tastes of listeners, has excellent programs, and broadcasters who have their own privileges in communicating with their listeners, as is the case with this Fuad FM radio with some of its program programs that adjust the tastes of its listeners, besides that it does not forget to make its flagship show programs. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze radio broadcast programs in general. The motto used is a qualitative research method. The results obtained from this study show an in-depth analysis of the ins and outs of radio broadcasting, starting from the programs, strategies for creating programs, factors, and others. So, a broadcast program is everything that a broadcasting station displays in the form of sound, image, or sound and image or in the form of graphics, and characters, whether interactive or not, that can be received through a broadcast receiving device to meet the needs of its audience.

<p>Local content insertion enabled single frequency networks (SFN) for TV broadcast is a topic of considerable research interest. The SFN broadcast system is not ideally suited for localized content, but it offers enormous spatial diversity and power gain advantages. Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) allows reserving a fraction of available subcarriers for broadcasting local content. However, a user in the transition region from one local service area (LSA) to another experiences high co-channel interference (CCI). This work explores the possibility of using a `buffer zone' based on universal frequency reuse schemes. In such systems, the power allocation to each content is varied to reduce the CCI-dominated region in the LSA boundary. Simulation results show that depending on the threshold signal-to-interference plus noise (SINR) ratio selected, the proposed buffer architectures increase the percentage of users served by the SFN compared to the scheme where such a buffer is absent. Moreover, the proposed method is spectrally efficient compared to an orthogonal allocation of local content across the LSAs.</p>
