Abstract:The presence of a "zero-pole" in nuclear diagonal S-matrix was found to be dominant in both elastic and inelastic scattering angular distributions of e-particles (E--24 and 29 MeV) on Ca 4~nuclei. The inelastic scattering amplitudes were evaluated by making use of the derivative relation of Austern and Blair for one and two phonon excitation mechanism. Reduced matrix elements C1(I ) and deformation lengths BIR are derived. Consistent vibrational model description for Ca 4~ energy levels is presented.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
