Single red emission from upconverting ZnGa2O4:Yb,Er nanoparticles co-doped by Cr3+

Abstract: ZnGa2O4:Yb3+,Er3+,Cr3+ nanoparticles synthesized by a hydrothermal method and further annealing emit bright singular red light under 980 nm excitation and near-infrared light under 254 nm excitation.
