Nanocrystalline Lanthanum Molybdenum Oxide powders (having crystallite size from 67 nm-287 nm) and chemical composition: La2−xFexMo2O9 (x = 0.0, 0.012, 0.024, 0.036), synthesized by hydrothermal method is being reported in this research. XRD, SEM and EDS were used to study the structure, morphology, and chemical compositions respectively. Temperature dependent electrical and dialectic properties were examined at temperatures ranging from 300 K to 450 K. DC electrical conductivity was found to be increasing with increasing Fe3+ concentration. Furthermore, the measured dielectric loss was very small. It also exhibited a decreasing trend with increasing Fe3+ concentration. A lower dielectric loss makes such materials suitable potential candidates for applications in super capacitors.
