Abstract:A singularly perturbed system for doubly diffusive convection equations, called the artificial compressible system, is considered on a twodimensional infinite layer for a parameters range where the Hopf bifurcation occurs in the corresponding incompressible system. The spectrum of the linearized operator in a time periodic function space is investigated in detail near the bifurcation point when the singular perturbation parameter is small. The results of this paper are the basis of the study of the nonlinear H… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
