Today, the business world is in extreme competition. Every organization is striving hard to find an ideal strategy to stand out from the rest of its competitors. However, achieving Excellence is far from easy, and faced with problems. Organizations usually use improvement approaches with experts in Total Quality Management (TQM), Lean Management (LM), and Lean Six Sigma (LSS) to overcome punctual problems. Unfortunately, companies still need a holistic and innovative framework involving the organization staff for solving problems. Therefore, this paper proposes a futuristic framework for organizations' improvement integrating TRIZ and LSS from the strategy to operational execution. The proposed model was based on a literature review on excellence, LSS, and TRIZ. Furthermore, the Authors' experience as academics, researchers, and industrialists facilitate the framework experimentation in a real context. The results show that the framework allows companies to develop a continuous improvement culture, focus on priorities and develop an innovative approach to solving problems. This system will enable future research and management systems to take the framework as a basis for continuous improvement and to open the opportunity to discover TRIZ differently.

Paper reviewing the use of TRIZ tools and methods in combination with other tools for better manufacturing and production processes improvement. A weakness of the current state of process improvement is mainly solving problems by trivial tools as Brainstorming, which leads to not ideal resolutions to problems in the process. This could be improved by the use of TRIZ. A literature review was used for examination of the current state and history of the use of TRIZ principles in a field of production processes. The review is chronologically structured and focuses on attempts to use TRIZ itself or in combination with other tools with a goal improvement of processes or activities related to the process. The research begins before the year 2000 and it ends by the year 2019. The use of TRIZ for process improvement was described by many authors, and many approaches were tried. From the results, it is seen that TRIZ methods should be beneficial for use in practice. Unfortunately, found solutions are either too complex or without specific descriptions. That could be a cause of why the implementation of TRIZ tools is not spread. Results of review lead to a need for a new, more user-friendly approach based on TRIZ principles for use by engineers in real practice.

Recently, lean production has become a major focus of researchers and industry. The zero waste concept holds an important role in the production process. The aim of this concept is to reduce waste and to increase productivity. Wastes have significant negative impacts to the company, one of which is the decrease of company profit. This research aimed to integrate the Lean Six Sigma method with Teorya Resheniya Izobreatatelskikh Zadatch (TRIZ) in order to reduce wastes. These two methods were applied with Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control(DMAIC) methodology. A case study was conducted in a wood manufacturing company. The results of the study suggest that the application of the two methods can significantly reduce the Non-value Added (NVA).
