Abstract:One of the major disadvantages of multicarrier systems is high peak to average power ratio (PAPR) of transmitted signal. There are various schemes to reduce this parameter including clipping, amplification, selective mapping (SLM), partial transmit sequence (PTS) and tone reservation (TR). An impressive technique to reduce the PAPR is selective mapping. In this paper we investigate dynamic clipping and amplification methods for Interleaved OFDMA uplink systems and combine these two techniques with SLM scheme. … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
