Abstract:Introduction:
Pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD) has been widely applied as a standard surgical procedure to treat periampullary diseases. The placement of a pancreaticojejunal anastomotic stent is considered an effective and safe method for preventing pancreatic fistula after PD.
