Abstract:The advancement on the emerging twisted 2D materials with emphasis on controllable preparation, promising to bring some new insights to the field of 2D materials and laying a foundation for exploring more novel physical properties in the future.
“…TMDs, for instance, exhibit excellent semiconducting properties, 19 opening avenues for the design of outstanding transistors 20 and photodetectors. 21 Furthermore, the development of heterostructures 22–24 and twisted 2D materials 25 offer an additional freedom degree for the next-generation nanoelectronics.…”
The usage of liquid metal or alloy enables the fabrication of various 2D atomic crystals. This review fully examines the synthetic methods, condition-behavior relationship, and atomic engineering in this field, emphasizing a promising future.
