Smoothing Algorithms for DTM Networks

Abstract: Abstract:Previous studies of Dynamic Synchronous Transfer Mode (OTM), which is based on multi-access dual fiber bus, showed that it could be a viable technology in the future. This paper points out that the characteristics of active and passive nodes are not balanced and the performance of the network can be increased by decreasing the need for slot allocation during call set-up.
