Social Rationality as a Sociological Category: Theoretical and Methodological Analysis

Abstract: The article presents theoretical and methodological analysis of the concept of social rationality. The main approaches to the rationality as an aspect of socio-cultural reality are described. Some implications of the term used in sociological and philosophical literature are revealed. The issue of the relevance of the study of rationality as a modern cultural value is touched upon.
