The article analyzes the contributions of the notions of Good Living attributable to epistemologies, traditions, and subjective well-being at work, given the current changes in the working context, to enrich the concept of human development. The article is developed with an analytical-descriptive and synthetic approach, reconstructing the concept of Good Living through a theoretical-economic, ontological, and epistemological comparison and its dimensional axes. Methodologically, a systematic review of human development literature is used in Latin America through the Web of Science (WOS), comparing the UNDP Technical Notes (HDI) with the various approaches to Good Living published between 2010 and 2020. These documents were subjected to semantic contrast, with reference to the various dimensions and positions of human development as a generator of subjective well-being for the configuration of public labor policies. The main findings refer to the disagreement points evidenced in the two-axes dimensions of the Good Living measurement systems (mobility and safety, and cultural satisfaction within territories), an important factor being the sumak kawsay, the concept of Good Living. Sumak is fullness, the sublime, excellent, magnificent, beautiful, superior. Kawsay is life, being. However, it is dynamic, changing, and is not a passive question, and is thus not considered by the different evolutionary changes of the HDI.

This article intends to find an answer to the high level of community participation in Tuatunu Urban Village in the City of Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Islands Province in the sacrificial worship (qurban) motivation during the Eid al-Adha feast day. Tuatunu Urban Village only has a population of approximately 9,000 inhabitants and the average livelihood of its inhabitants is as pepper, rubber, and pineapple farmer. But in Eid al-Adha 2019, the level of participation of the people who follow the sacrificial worship from the five mosques in this area is highest when compared to the seven sub-districts in the Municipality of Pangkalpinang. Tuatunu Urban Village sacrifices approximately 32 cows at Eid al-Adha 2019, where seven people bear one cow. This urban village celebrates Eid al-Adha like Eid al-Fitr where residents visit each other's neighbors. This article is the result of quantitative research with the dependent variable is a sacrificial worship motivation and the independent variables are religiosity, generosity, avoid harm, and social status. This study found that the variables that influence the motivation to sacrificial worship the people of Tuatunu Urban Village are the factors of religiosity, social status, and avoid harm while the elements of generosity do not significantly influence the motivation to sacrifice.

Purpose – This study aims to examine the important role of religion and the contribution of the community to empower women in building women's capabilities as actors in the family economy.Methodology – This study uses a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach and collects data using observation, interviews, and documentation studies.Findings – This study shows that the contextualization of religious teachings, which are widely discussed in religious forums (Payungi Entrepreneurial Pesantren), and the contribution of the community in the actualization of ideas in women's empowerment can change the negative stigma of women and encourage women to become economic actors in the family through women's entrepreneurial activities.Implications – Religion and community can be optimized to encourage women to build capabilities and respond to various forms of inequality. Their existence in empowering women contributes to shaping the character of women entrepreneurs by prioritizing religious and collectivity values.Originality – This study completes the puzzle of previous research deficiencies by revealing phenomena in women's empowerment built from religious spirits and transformative movements produced by the community.
