Abstract:In this work, through a literature review, the theme will be addressed: sodium hypochlorite and chlorhexidine in endodontics. They are two chemical substances used as irrigating solutions and of different concentrations. This literature review aims to discuss sodium hypochlorite and chlorhexidine as irrigating solutions in endodontics, their indications, advantages and disadvantages, to assist the professional in the choice of these irrigants.
