Soft semirings

Abstract: a b s t r a c tMolodtsov introduced the concept of soft sets, which can be seen as a new mathematical tool for dealing with uncertainty. In this paper, we initiate the study of soft semirings by using the soft set theory. The notions of soft semirings, soft subsemirings, soft ideals, idealistic soft semirings and soft semiring homomorphisms are introduced, and several related properties are investigated.

“…The soft set theory has been applied to many different fields (see, for example, [1], [2], [4], [5], [7], [8], [11], [12], [13], [14], [15], [16], [22], [25], [27]). …”

“…The notion of fuzzy subgroup was introduced by A. Rosenfeld et.al [5], [10] in his pioneering paper. Many authors [2], [3], [6], [7], [8] applied the concept of fuzzy sets for studies in fuzzy semigroups, fuzzy groups, fuzzy rings, fuzzy ideals, fuzzy semirings and fuzzy near-rings and so on. In fact many basic properties in group theory are found to be carried over to fuzzy groups.…”

“…They also discussed the notion of soft groups. After than, many algebraic properties of soft sets are studied (see [1,3,7,9,10,11,12,13,14,19,23]). …”
