“…1 Surgery is the main treatment of early-stage STS in adult patients, but approximately 50% of them will develop postoperative recurrence and die. 2 Conventional chemotherapy benefits patients with advanced STS with objective response rates from 15 to 25% with drugs such as doxorubicin, ifosfamide, and dacarbazine.
