Software solutions for high-security voice and data communication for smartphones

Abstract

Based on Jadhav and Sonars' model for the selection of software we develop a catalogue of criteria for the comparison of software solutions for high-security voice and data communication for smartphones. Our catalogue consists of five categories: functionality, quality, vendor, cost-benefit ratio and terminal equipment/infrastructure. For each category we define criteria and sub-criteria. Based on the catalogue of criteria we compare the two leading players in Germany, SiMKo3 and SecuSUITE for BlackBerry 10.
