“…The Soil Productivity Index (SPI), postulated and modified by Duan et al [55][56][57], was calibrated and adapted for each treatment and erosion level of the olive groves of the PDO Estepa (Equation (11)). To estimate this index, it is necessary to consider the influence of the main variables closely linked to edaphic productivity: pH, organic matter, potassium, and clays.…”

“…PI model can be used to determine the productivity capabilities of mountainous and steep slopes area in China. The researchers found a similarity of 83% between the evaluative product yields made with the useful K and P factors added to the PI model and the agricultural suitability classes obtained from the model (Xingwu et al, 2015), and researchers indicate that this practical model has been validated in many locations, including the northeast black soil region of China (Duan et al, 2012). In a similar study has been done comparison of the storie index method with the land quality index method which can be used in determining the agricultural suitability in Samsun -Turkey and the resercears stated that SI makes different suitability classification from the LQI.…”

“…In this work, the T values in the HC, CI and CA areas are 20, 50 and 100 t/(km 2 a) (Yang et al, 2004) Some senior scholars and scientists conducted preliminary studies on soil erosion. Duan et al (2012) modified soil productivity index model to calculate a quantitative T value for different black soil species in the black soil region of northeastern China. The T values of the 21 black soil species in the study area ranged from 68 to 358 t/(km 2 a) with an average of 141 t/(km 2 a).…”

“…This average T value is 29.5 % less than the current national standard. The T values of the three different soil subgroups in the study area are albic black soil, 106 t/(km 2 a); typical black soil, 129 t/(km 2 a); and meadow black soil, 184 t/(km 2 a) (Duan et al, 2012). Based on the soil nutrient balance and test data, Shui et al (2003) suggested that soil loss tolerance in Q 2 red-clay-derived red earth should be lower than 300 t/(km 2 a).…”
