“…The production of hybrid materials composed of magnetic nanoparticles and ILs is another alternative and interesting material, which was explored for the determination of BPA and other analytes [71,72]. Magnetic nanoparticles coated with IL were produced for the extraction of benzophenones, BPA and parabens in water samples, using magnetic dispersive solid-phase extraction [71].…”

“…The authors report good precision and accuracy and, as an interesting characteristic, the simultaneous determination of 3 families of endocrine‐disrupting compounds. A similar strategy was used, producing a hybrid material of magnetic nanoparticles coated with the IL 1‐octyl‐3‐methylimidazole hexafluorophosphate, for the determination of BPA in plastic tableware using MSPE [72]. The authors report that this material can be re‐used 10 times and suppose that the hydrocarbon chains of IL could promote π‐interaction and hydrophobic interactions with BPA.…”

“…Notably, multiple procedures have been utilized for determining the contents of BPA in diverse matrices, including gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry [ 8 ], high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) [ 9 ], fluorescence [ 10 ], electrochemical techniques [ 11 , 12 ], and chemiluminescence [ 13 ], which are methods which have the characteristics of excellent sensitivity, proper selectivity, and repeatability. However, these methods suffer from some disadvantages such as high cost, time-consuming operation, unsuitability for on-site analysis, and the need for qualified operators and complicated instrumentations.…”

“…Magnetic Fe 3 O 4 @SiO 2 nanoparticles with a core–shell structure have attracted an increasing interest in biological and environmental fields [ 11 , 12 , 13 , 14 ]. The particles with nano size possess abundant surface active sites for surface modification, and the greatest strength of Fe 3 O 4 @SiO 2 nanoparticles is their targeting ability.…”
