Abstract:The dust-acoustic (DA) solitary waves and double layers structures of the dust-acoustic waves (DAWs) have been investigated in the framework of Gardner approach, in a non-ideal dusty plasma system consisting of electrons, ions and negatively charged dust grains. The non-ideal effects are examined by incorporating the van der Waals (VDW) equation of state for the dust grains. Using reductive perturbation technique, the Gardner's equation is derived.
