Solvated electrons in the complex media: a review

Abstract: Solvated electrons are a type of weakly-bound electrons which are confined in solvents or surrounding media and are different from the atomic core and valence electrons. Their main characters are that the electron(s) are solvated by solvent molecules or micro-surrounding media, and are novel entities and special quantum dot systems.
