Some effects of procaine penicillin and of certain vitamin supplements on food consumption and live‐weight gain of pigs

Abstract: Experiments are described in which condensed fish solubles, vitamin B,, concentrates, a rjboflavin concentrate and procaine penicillin were fed to pigs. No responses were obtained which could be attributed to vitamin B,, or to riboflavin, but live-weight gains, food consumption and efficiency of food utilization were increased by procaine penicillin.
