Some remarks on an experiment suggesting quantum-like behavior of cognitive entities and formulation of an abstract quantum mechanical formalism to describe cognitive entity and its dynamics

Abstract: We have executed for the first time an experiment on mental obesrvables concluding that there exists equivalence (that is to say, quantum like behavior) between quantum and cognitive entities.Such result has enabled us to formulate an abstract quantum mechanical formalism that is able to describe cognitive entities and their time dynamics.

“…This is the essential peculiarity that we aim to investigate in the present paper. A contribution to the problem on the existence of quantum wave functions and quantum interference effects in biological dynamics and in mental states arose years ago (Conte, 1983;Khrennikov, 2001;Conte et al, -2007. In particular, by Khrennikov, the problem was extended to the so called calculus of contextual probabilities.…”

“…Still other contributions are due, for instance, to Vitiello, Khrennikov et al, [12], and to Busemeyer et al, [13]. In particular, in this last paper the authors confront Markov models of human decision-making with other models somehow connected to quantum mechanics.…”

“…with U evolution operator (of course given by us in [13] as member of the ( ) i A S Clifford algebra, exchanges preparation representation and measurement representation. Consequently, quantum collapse is not "attached by hand" to the fundamental deterministic evolution of a quantum system, as of course we demonstrated in [3], it corresponds to the cybernetic sequence coding-transmittingdecoding.…”
