Abstract:Traumatic peripheral nerve injury is not a common finding in the general population but is increasingly being recognized and diagnosed in trauma and emergency medicine settings. Peripheral nerve injury can cause temporary or long-term motor and sensory loss, as well as intense pain and disability, if left untreated.
