Soret and Dufour effects on MHD squeezing flow of Jeffrey fluid in horizontal channel with thermal radiation

Abstract: The fluid flow with chemical reaction is one of well-known research areas in the field of computational fluid dynamic. It is potentially useful in the modelling of flow on a nuclear reactor. Motivated by the implementation of the flow in the industrial application, the aim of this study is to explore the time-dependent squeeze flow of magnetohydrodynamic Jeffrey fluid over permeable medium in the influences of Soret and Dufour, heat source/sink and chemical reaction. The presence of joule heating, joule dissip… Show more

“…The work conducted by Naduvinamani et al [29] demonstrates a comparable trend in the velocity profile when examining changes in the squeezing parameter 𝑆. A comparable behaviour for squeezing parameter is investigated by Mat Noor et al [30]. In Figure 2b, the influence of 𝜆 2 on the axial velocity is depicted.…”

“…Qayyum and Oscar 12 modeled the flow of viscous liquid amid two parallel surfaces compressed to “each other” in the presence of a “magnetic field.” They analyzed the slip consequences on various fluid properties. Jeffrey fluid was considered by Mat Noor et al 13 for squeezing flow in attendance of a “magnetic field.” Soret and Dufour effects and “thermal radiation” effects were also studied by them. Jalili et al 14 explored “heat and mass transport” of Casson liquid flow squeezed amid two parallel circular plates and explored the magnetohydrodynamic effect.…”

“…Later, the prior study was extended by Noor et al, [46] by examining the heat sink and source in the Jeffrey flow. The prior work is continued by Noor et al, [47] for the study of thermal radiation and Dufour and Soret impacts on Jeffrey flow on squeezed plates. For Casson hybrid nanofluid, Hafeez et al, [48] studied the MHD flow through porous medium over a vertical melting surface with Dufour and Soret, Joule heating and viscous dissipation effects.…”
