“…Among secondary GN, lupus nephritis was the most common diagnosis observed among 15.45%, followed by diabetic nephropathy in 7.27%, post infectious GN in 7.1%, renal vasculitis in 4.25% and hypertensive nephropathy in 1.52%. Among females, lupus was the most frequent pathology in that study and it corresponds to our findings [28]. However, another study done on the same settings in the period of 2015-2018 found that MCD was the most common histopathological diagnosis (86/345) followed by lupus (20%), FSGS (14%), IgAN (12%), DN (10%) and MGN (9%) [27].…”
