Abstract:Abstract. Lepton deep inelastic scattering off nuclei at medium energies gives the opportunity to study the space-time development of hadronization. Indeed, for these kinematics, the production length is comparable to the nuclear size. Based on the Berger model [1] and dipole phenomenology, we built a model for vacuum and in-medium hadronization. The model, which includes vacuum energy loss, induced energy loss and nuclear absorption in a parameter-free way successfully describes Hermes data [2,3]. In a future… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
